Had 1st slight control...

So a week or so ago, I had the first of what I consider real lucid dreams. I had a couple before this (very brief) where I knew I was dreaming, but I just woke up really quickly. In this one I knew I was dreaming and was excited, but I actually had it last about a minute or so. I was running around a school, and I just knew that I was dreaming so I was looking everywhere for something to do a RC on. I finally did and the first thought I had is that I could just punch this DC that was standing there, because nothing would happen, but then I remembered that my first LD goal I wanted to do was fly, so I ran outside and I ended up hovering a couple inches off the ground, but then I woke up. The hovering was one of the most incredible feelings I have ever had and I can only imagine what actual flying must be like.

The problem I am having is really making any progress in my dreaming. Having that LD was just a bit of a fluke. As I am in my senior year of college, I really do not have much time to really put forth enough of an effort, I think, that is required to really progress in lucid dreaming.

Anyone have any tips for squeezing practice, etc, into my schedule?

Well, RC’s take very little time. As for other techs, even if you can only do say, WBTB by it self or just MILD by it self you will still make progress. It won’t be quite as fast as using both WBTB and MILD together, but it’d stil be progress .

Wow. Your 1st experience reminds me of mine. Running around to try to do an RC. Then after doing that the LD slowly fading. But more will come, just keep your interest perked and you’ll get another.

During the week do MILD and on weekends do WBTB … that’s what I have been trying because my school week is so busy!

do MILD with WBTB, and WILD, without moving, when you wake up from one of thoe “lucid moments”
