MILD works GREAT right now, I haven’t been lucid dreaming yet but I made a lot of progress. The thing is, some nights, I just can’t fall asleep and my body wants to sleep. In these times, I usually get SP without wanting it. I try to think of something else but my SC only wanna focus on SP. Both of the times I achieved SP, my eyes were just doing all sorts of weird stuff, my heart was gonna go through my chest and I just got really stressed. I don’t wanna TRY WILD but when I get the chance, I don’t wanna waste it
Any tips on handling and stabilizing SP ? thanks
Very recently I have been practicing a technique to induce Sleep Paralysis. I lie on my back, and breathe very deeply, then close my eyes. I relax my mind and body, and just think to myself “Soon, I will be dreaming…”. I start to feel the effects of the Paralysis.
Once this happens, I think to myself, “Sleep Paralysis is setting in, don’t worry, it’s NOT harmful.” I do tend to have moments where my heart begins to beat faster and stronger, but I just ignore it and let it do it’s thing. The key is to just remain relaxed and focused on falling to sleep. Soon Hypnagogic Imagery will start. Personally I find this phase amazing, for me I usually see color blobs, and they start to form into different shapes. But that’s going ahead of what your question is.
Basically, for me, the trick to stabilizing and handling Sleep Paralysis is to remain calm, relaxed, and to remember that it’s completely natural.
Hey thanks ! yeah I wasn’t really relaxed, I was more like OMG OMG
Now i’ll know what to do next time it occurs but for now… off to bed for MILD ^^
