Last night I was having an LD and the weirdest thing happened…
It all started as a normal dream but a few of my deceased pets where in a room with me which gave me the huge hint of “I’m dreaming”. After a reality check I was sure. I was in a familiar place so I ran to the closest mirror but as soon as I ran though it It felt as if I had thrown myself into a tar pit. I got stuck in a solid position and felt almost a sleep paralysis type feeling. It scared me enough to wake me up but I was wondering if anyone else has been stuck in a mirror before?
You probably shouldn’t have panicked and then everything would have been just fine.
This is just my wild guess, since my experiences with mirrors in dreams aren’t exciting at all; most of the time they are normal mirrors
I haven’t gotten stuck like that, but I’ve fallen in darkness a couple of times. I did get somewhere though. It just took a little time. Perhaps you would get somewhere to after awhile. When the mind gets bore with the darkness. Dreams like to have activity as you know. I guess being scared and freaked out counts as activity, maybe that’s why it persisted. If it happens again try to be calm and remember, there is no tar.
I believe that if you were slightly more lucid you could’ve gotten away with it. You could’ve pictured yourself bursting out from within the mirror and into a different dreamscape, for example…
