You know when you get to the forum and you first log in you see the list of memebers that are currently online, the number of people just browsing through that are called guests and hidden. So who are the hidden members and why are they hidden? I’ve always wondered about this and decided to ask because there were 2 hidden members just then when I logged in.
people who for whatever reason do not like their presence to be known when they are online…
i was hidden for a few weeks - just for the fun of it.
people go hidden to do devious deeds in wg (wolb does at least)
and some people just like their privacy…
heh for a long while anamcara was hidden - but she was the only one hidden that came on so frequently - so whenver there was a hidden member chances were more then likely it was her!

Yes people do like to try and keep a hope of privacy alive. The admin and anyone able to view the online list via the mod pannel can of course see who the hidden members are anyways.
When I was a mod I used to make make the “trouble makers” visible just to anoy them. I was evil. I am evil. I stole an X. 
Dark Matter only Q can see the admin panel. So mods cannot tell who the hidden members are 
why would u wnat to hide from the world? i want the world to c me, n show em what i can do!
I don’t even know how can someone be hidden.I thought they were guests but i didn’t care much though.TimeLess_soul some people just want to see what is going on on the forum nad not be noticed by anyone.Not bad not good for them or the rest.Just want to be relaxed by reading what they want to read and leave without being noticed,many people do it some time.I do it on the msn some times not,always,and just put away although i am there.

I’ve never gone hidden in WG or any other time! I know Anam has before though.
I’ve gone into hidden a couple of times. I think maybe people do it b/c they don’t want to be bothered while they are reading and posting. Other’s have personal reasons.
But I like seeing my name on. I like the way TS put it
I used the hidden feature when I was fake QuiXote - but that’s about it.
I see no use for it.

I have never gone hidden got nothing to hide plus it is the internet so its not like anyone can see me unless I put my web cam on

when you are hidden you can post, but then your name shows up in the post. It’s just hidden for the ‘who’s online’ list.
