How does the roll over technique work for WILD?

I’ve heard that during WILD, you have to keep completely still and ignore all signals the body sends out, such as the roll over signal so that you can trick your body into falling asleep. But, some people have said something about rolling over when performing WILD. I also hear about the stop drop and roll technique. How does rolling over work for WILD?

Um, I don’t know much about WILD alternatives but I’m pretty sure you got your stuff mixed up… I heard that for FILD ( Finger Induced Lucid Dream ) that it can help if you imagine yourself rolling over while tapping fingers and once it really happens you’re dreaming.

I’m not fully sure what the stop drop and roll technique is used for, but I have seen it mentioned. I think it’s just a way to get relaxed before going into SP. I don’t actually do WILD myself, but relaxation’s my best guess as to what SD&R is.

Stop, drop and roll technique video. Learning about it myself too right now.
And I believe they say try to make your “dream body” roll over. Sadly I dont know too much about that part.

Well I use stop drop and roll technique because I can’t fall asleep on my back. So when using SDR technique I end up on my side where I can easily fall asleep.

While preforming SDR and before rolling over I get to the point when I’m completely numb and relaxed, so when I roll over it takes so little effort that it doesn’t matter that I broke this state because when I roll over my body gets in the same state within a minute so I’ve lost nothing just gain because I can fall asleep on my side but not on back. That’s why I use SDR.

When you are on the dreal/real world border you start losing control of your physical body and gaining of your dream body. If at this point you try to move your body the way you normally do you’ll use your muscles and try to move your physical body. If you are in SP you won’t be able to move, but if you aren’t yet, you might move your body and “ruin” the process (as the body will move and go "crap, he/she is still awake!). So what he means with move your dream body is to move your body with imagination/visualization. You do this just like you would do right now if you closed your eyes and imagined you moved instead of actually moving. In this particular state where you start gaining control of your dream body you’ll actually start feeling it and when you move or imagine touching something you’ll feel the movement, textures, etc. Sometimes it can take a few seconds to start feeling it vividly, in my experience.

Anyway, hope that made sense enough  It’s hard to fully understand this without experiencing it for yourself, so keep praticing
