How real do LDs feel?

I’ve never had an LD, and I’m wondering how real it feels. Does it feel completely real, like, real life?

I just had an LD a few days ago. I won;t say it feels ‘completely’ real like in real life, And it is because of that sensation (not so real) that I realised I was in a dream. But I noticed that my senses works fine in a LD… I could feel touch, smell and yeah…even taste! And they felt real! Gosh I hope I have another LD soon… there’s a bunch of stuffs I’d like to do…

hiya, some LDs can feel as real ifnot more than real life…it really depends on the dream…

ps. ZeMMs, nice to see that you decided to join

look around you right now. notice every detail of everything. that is a lucid dream.

Oh gosh that would be fine !
Want one !

Look around you and imagine as vivid as possible that you’re in a Lucid Dream. Roll your eyes from side of the room to the other, not focusing on any objects, just letting your eyes SEE everything at once. Then glance at an object for 1 second and look at a window. Your lucid dreams can look as real as taking a walk in the park, or down the block. During the walk, look at everthing with a passion that you’re in a dream world. be aware that you are walking. In a LD you will be aware that you are walking and having a dream. You can do more in a Lucid Dream, of course. RC’s are a great source.

I have had an LD in which i stood next to an enormous exhaust tower from a powerplant, it was about 150m high. I jumped and flew up, so high that i could look into the exhaust tower. Then, i raised my head and looked up at the sky. I felt the warmth of the sun on my face and saw a cloudless, blue sky. The experience actually felt more real to me than real life. That sounds absurd, but i think it felt that way because i was 100% aware of everything in that LD, whereas i’m not 100% aware IRL most of the time.

I’ve found tht LDs differ when it comes to how real they feel, according to how lucid you are. If you’re not very lucid, it feels like a regular old dream, but if you’re very lucid, it can feel just like real life feels.

The first Lucid dream that I had (since knowing what a lucid dream is, my 1st was when I was ten but you can find that in my DJ once i get it started), was about one year ago, I was in new york and I had just seen the matrix 3, and while walking down the street I thought to myself that it would be so cool to be able to fly like neo, then it happened, my feet left the ground, before that when I didn’t know it was a dream it felt fake, but after I realized it was a dream it was so clear, i believe the more you want it to be clear the clearer it’ll become that is my belief anyways

Hi Admiral

One of the dream where i became lucid was that i was in hell. And i was so shocked that i said “This cant be real”. Before isaid this, i saw fire burning everywhere, horrible things, the whole shibang. The second i said “This cant be real” I realised it was a dream and suddenly i felt the fire burning my skin. In ways, i wish i had not become lucid in that dream. It felt THAT real.

Jaxal after you found out it was real couldn’t you just tell yourself to wake up?
Mostly when I become Lucid in a nightmare I either change the scape or scream to the top of my lungs wake up,
That always works

Ofcourse

Lucid dreams feel a bit lite boiled rice.

Every LD I’ve had has felt completely and ridiculously real. More so than real life, even. It’s like having the sensitivity of all your senses clicked up a few notches. It can make reality seem like a TV with the color brightness turned down in comparison. Basically it’s your mind, so it can be anything you want it to be.

I use cotact lenses . (-1.75)
Will i see the world with or without them ?

Dream world? My eyes are -5.5 and I usually see fine in dreams most of the time. If I take my glasses off or put them on in a dream everything will go blurry. I dislike dreams where I loose my glasses. Everything is dark and murky.

It depends on what you expect will happen. There is no deficiency in your brain for visualising, and you dont use your IRL eyes in a dream, so you should see everything fine. Unless you expect to see stuff blurry, in which case your mind will just mess up your dream.
