hey guys and girls,
I’ve been trying to WILD alot and school just started last night
last night when trying to go to sleep (although i was tired) i couldnt fall asleep because everytime i started having abstract thoughts and drifting off, i realized it and couldnt fall asleep…for two full hours i laid there trying to fall asleep, drifting off then waking myself up again becaues i realized it
so my question to you is how do i not keep my mind busy so that i can fall asleep and have energy for school
So you mean you’re TOO aware when you’re falling asleep? Lol everyone else would be happy with some awareness during sleep onset
Perhaps try not to think about WILD during the day, and certainly not during the evening. Do some daydreaming when you lie in bed; think about something you experienced that day, something you wish to experience tomorrow, or alike. If you keep doing this, I think you’ll soon learn not to realize anymore that you’re drifting to sleep.
Well i can lay awake in a wierd state of semi concioncensness(spelling?!?!?!) wich i dont remeber much of for up to 4 hours. it is probably some form of insomnia.
now it only takes about 45 minutes for me to fall asleep
i think i might have just been a little nervous about the first day of highschool
the try daydreaming tip worked pretty well…it took a few trys but it worked. I just though about my classes and what i was gunna do tomorrow and i eventually fell alseep
i think i might take another break from lding for about a week or two…its only the second day of school and im already incredibly busy…i cant even think about dreaming
Yeah, it’s just nervousness/excitement about starting school again. I had to deal with it, and basically everyone on another message board were the subject of starting school was brought up people said they couldn’t sleep the night before school starts. I’m guessing it’s normal.
