# hypnosis in realtion to lucidity

People who can do self hypnosis, meditation or use any other method of inducing altered states of consciousness have a better chance (in my opinion) of inducing lucid dreams. When you induce a trance you have better access to your subconscious. It is not necessary to have these skills to induce lucid dreams but it is an added plus.
