i always get these.

most of my dreams that i remember are ones where i win something awesome like that lotto. i remember them the best because im so excited when it happens. im new at the whole lucid thing, so im not sure if ive done it. but im just remembering a dream this moment, i found like some big ass chunks of gold, and at the end of it i was thinking that i get these dreams all the time and i always wake up and they arent real, so i remember thinking “yeah this is a dream.” i think this is the closest ive come to lucidity… and ive read on the different techniques, and i seem to want to use WBTB. When i go to sleep, these random ass thoughts and images just pop into my head, and i think thats when i should reach out for one and grab it. someone correct me if im wrong.

Ha yeah, I use to have dreams like that, in one dream I found lotts of watches someone had thrown out they all still worked and I would have been rich if I sold them. I realised I was dreaming in that one. To bad I hadn’t read anything about lucid dreams then, They’ld probably be the best dreams to get lucid. To me they were really annoying because I spend the night trying to find ways to transfer my newfound wealth into RL. From my experience I’ld say DILD(that’s with RCs? you probably know more that me :tongue: ) would be good. But why not try everything.

That reminds me of a dream I had more than 12 years ago, I dreamt I got a couple of horses I knew it was a dream and I “knew” where they would be tied up when I woke, so in the morning I went outside to see them.

That sounds like you are experiencing the early stages of WILD if you get the feeling you can “grab the image”
An experienced WILDer may be able to give you some advice.

I am not really sure what you mean by that. But it sounds like you are experiencing vivid HI and very close to a WILD. In my opinion, rather than reaching out or trying to enter the dream just allow yourself to be pulled into the dream instead. You see if you actively try to do something you may wake yourself back up. The trick here is to have patients and be passive.

wait ultil you KNOW you wont wake up, then grab something!
