moved from pathways
I finally had a lucid dream! This isn’t my first though. It was the first one that didn’t actually last 5 seconds. But it was strange how I got there. I think I did WILD…But I’m not entirely sure. This morning I attempted the WBTB method. I started to count and concentrate…but like always, my mind dozed off. But then I started to realize I was dozing off. The strange thing was, after this happened my body felt this unusual awareness, and almost suddenly I heard this strange noise that sounded like a crowd of people chanting, except it was distorted. This scared the crap out of me at first, but I realized that you usually hear strange noises when attempting WILD. So I calmed myself down. Then the noise changed into what sounded like a bathtub being filled. It seems a little fuzzy from here, I don’t remember if I felt vibrations or not, it wasn’t very intense. The next thing I remember was seeing myself in my grandparents living room. I knew I was in a dream at this point. I looked at my hands and I noticed I had six fingers. I finally did it. Then I started to test the physics of the dream a bit, so I tried to walk through the sliding glass door to get outside. But I couldn’t walk through it. After a few attempts, I finally just broke through the glass by kicking it. After I tried to fly in their backyard. I remember having difficulty trying to fly but I couldn’t do it for long. I was sort of disappointed because I didn’t feel that pull of flying like I have had in other dreams. Then I went through a series of false awakenings again and realizing that I was still dreaming. I also did some other experiments, but I don’t want to get into them because they weren’t that interesting and this post is getting a little long… ANYWAYS, I would like to know if I did a successful WILD, or if I just got lucky while I was falling asleep. But I know I did get lucid.
Sounds like a WILD to me! Congratulations, keep it up!
Cool! Yep, I’m fairly sure thats a WILD Great job!
