Hey, I have only had random LD 's untill I tried this by acident and then again a few more times and it really works.
When you go to sleep, (not intending WILD) and you start to drift off, and sort of start thinking or random stuff and hearing sounds, almost like HI , but not as vivid, atleast for me, pretend you are in a dream, even though you are still awake enough to tell its not a dream- just visualise a dream you’d like to have as if you were daydreaming.
Go through the dream in good detail. Keep on doing things to prove you are in a dream- like mental RC 's. If you do this for a few minutes, you will either actually just enter the dream (happened once for me) or will snap out of it and wake back up.
Once you are actually in a dream, you will recognize unrealistic things must easier and faster, and will be more likely to do DILD. The visualization is sort of like a pre-gaime worm up to your real dream. In some cases, the dream I’ve imagined has actually happened as a ND.
