I get so close, yet I need that last bit...

So I have been trying to lucid dream for about a month and a half now. I’ve done a ton of research and I actually get very close. I think last night was the closest I’ve ever gotten though. I felt as if my body was starting to lift, my heart beat was racing and I was breaking heavier. Than all of a sudden i had this excruciating pain in my shoulder (I need to get it checked, its actually been hurting for a couple of months. I’ll x-ray it after school’s over since exams are near, but usually it never effects my sleep, only my mornings). So anyways, I felt myself lifting up, but I just couldn’t take that last step. It seems as if I can get close but I just don’t know how to “cross over” to the lucid part of my dream. Anything else I could do that can possibly help me? I really want to get this going.

It helps me to try and feel myself moving, Whenever I feel like I’m about to get it I start to feel myself moving and focus on it and then I start to vibrate and then I’m in. Some people try visualizing stuff too.

I just don’t really know where to go from there lol. I mean, I think I should go back to the basics first. I started a DJ but I took a break from that since school got so busy. I don’t try to LD every night, this is the first time I’ve tried in a week or so, so I should probably do that more often. I dunno, this is the second time I’ve gotten so close but I just don’t know how to enter the actual dream world. And this shoulder thing sucks :razz:
