The last few weeks I was having only ND’s. The last week though I have had ND/LD. That probally doesnt make sense so I’ll try to explain. I realize something is odd like a river inside my mall. I become lucid for a second and then I become weak-willed and lose lucidity . When I say weak-willed I mean my brain wants to see the outcome of it and then my dream becomes like its on rails (like im watching a movie).
Any help or do you guys have similar problems ocassionally?
If i understand correctly, you wanted to become lucid, but you still wanted to see what was going to happen in the dream. The only advice i can think of is if it happens again, make sure you are vividly lucid and tell yourself you want to be lucid / remain in the dream and do the stuff that increases dream vividness and lucidness (like rub your hands or spin around). If you still want to see the outcome of the dream, just roll with it i guess. Ive had a dream where i knew i was dreaming but it never occurred for me to take advantage of it… it sucked
I think his problem is that he is either having a dry spell or doesn’t want to lose lucidity because his mind falls back to sleep. Either way willlpower is the key. You have to believe you will have a lucid dream, and if you realize you are dreaming and are losing control/lucidity you have to charge your way through it and be determind to regain control. I got a WILD that way. (I was falling asleep normally, felt myself lose conciousness and suddenly decided to push myself awake. I had a short lucid dream )and of course don’t forget your little bag of tricks (rubbing hands, spinning etc.)
