I’ve been attempting to WILD as hopes to getting to LD.
However, even though I relax about 30 minutes, I have yet to reach HI or SP.
Are there any specific breathing techniques, tricks, etc. that have REALLY helped you guys out, because I like the control I have with WILD and I’m not giving up on it easily.

. I’m actually starting to loose hope in having LD’s. I’ve been trying for about two months now? I still try though at night. Try DILD, I did have one DILD before, only lasted like three seconds though. WILD is the best one if you don’t wanna waste any of the night having a ND. 
Well, I just had my first WILD yesterday and I didn’t get very “deep” into the LD, but what I usually do is relax my body and just breathe in and out, counting every breath. At first my mind wanders easily, so I just bring it back to the counting… when I get up to 150-200 I’m much more concentrated… but I haven’t gotten SP, and I don’t know if this is related to seeing HI. The times I’ve had HI it kind of comes out of nowhere… I tried to WILD and fell asleep 2 times before I succeeded,

It may take a bit longer than 30 minutes, but when it starts happening, it happens quite quickly, so you may not be far off. Just be patient. It helps to do it when you’ve already had some sleep, gotten up for a short while, and then go back to bed. Some self affirmations before you start might help, like “I will stay aware while my body falls asleep”. Counting is standard, and probably slightly better is '1 - I’m dreaming - 2 - I’m dreaming - 3 etc. Also, make sure you know what to expect when it does start working, as some of the hypnagogic hallucinations can be quite intense and scary if they come as a surprise, and panicking or getting overexcited will thwart your attempt.
