Yeah, as I said. I have gotten around 3-4 FALSE lucid dreams. I even had one yesterday. But the problem is (of course) that I ain’t really -there-. It is like my mind is making me think: Ooh, I am having a dream. But I am not really aware of it. It is like a ND/LD.
I wonder, too, that when I shout ‘‘increase realness/detail/lucidity etc etc’’ my eyes go very weird, like I get water in them and I am almost forced to shut my eyes. This happened yesterday and why was it like that?
What am I doing wrong? How can I fix all these problems?
Is that you sort of realise your dreaming? Or do you go about your dream without actually thinking ‘this is a dream’ but do things that in WPR aren’t possible, like flying, changing time etc… as if its perfectly normal?
I’m asking because i do the latter pretty much every night - and i have heard it referred to as a FLD - i’m not really sure what its all about and i’m very interested to find out! Good luck! x
I have this problem too. Nearly everytime I get a LD it turns out like to be a FLD. This two week I’ve had two or three (Don’t remember exactly) FLDs, and a couple of dreams that I suspect that I dream but don’t do anything about it.
I think that your brain is starting to respond to your will to have LDs. If your mind is making you think so, it must mean you’re doing something right! You’ll see you will notice that little thing in a dream soon, and have a real LD. Have patience and do not lose faith.
About the eyes: you should try to spin instead if shouting doesn’t work, or works wrong. Spinning is one of the best techniques to remain lucid, I’ve read.
you might have read this before, but if you’re having many FLD’s you are really close! The only difference between a FLD and a real LD is the click
I don’t think it means you’re doing anything wrong, as Aelyissia said, you’re actually doing something right! Maybe you can do a few more RC’s, write more in your DJ and simple things like that. Keep trying and you’ll get one soon enough.
Think of it like this, a FLD is a ND where you dream you are lucid. In other words the whole “lucidity” in a FLD is created by your SC, so you know it knows you really want to LD. Your SC has received your message Just don’t give up!
So am i right in thinking that an FLD is a dream where you act like its a dream but you don’t click consciously that its a dream. If so then thats cool! I have those all the time so i feel im making progress!
hmm, I’m not completely sure… I have so many dreams where I fly or have increadible powers… but I usually just write “FLD” in my DJ if I actually say or think “this is a dream” without being lucid. But that’s just me… these dreams with powers might as well be FLD’s too. (I suppose flying ans such fits in “acting like it’s a dream”? )
Well, if they aren’t FLD’s they are one tiny step bellow a FLD in my opinion. One way or another I agree you’re making progress
