This is the stages with happened last night.
- Had warm shower for 15 mins.
-Got in bed 10 mins later
-5 mins in I started feeling tingling feeling in my hand
-3 mins after that my hands felt paraslised
-1min after that my whole arms felt prarlised
- 5 mins after that it had gone to my legs. The whole of my legs felt paralised.
-1 min after I went into a hot sweat

My eyes were twitching at a rapid rate (I think I was in REM)
About 5 twitches per 1 second. They were going mad.

I let that happen for 10 mins but nothing appeared in my eyes. No picture, nothing.
What did I do wrong?
Well for starters, it sounds like you were way too aware.
It sounds like you were trying WILD when you first went to bed. That is very difficult. Then both your body and mind need deep sleep. You normaly start the night with 60-80 mins. of deep sleep. Even if you are one of the people who can dream in deep sleep, most can’t or don’t, recall and clearity will be poor.
If you were trying WILD, the first thing that you have to learn is to relax your body enough to let it go to sleep while you keep your mind active enough to keep it awake. If you relax too much, you just go to sleep. If you keep your mind to active, you stay awake. Finding the right balance can be very difficult.
If you do want to try WILD, it is much easyer after about 5 to 6 hours of sleep with WBTB, or a nap in the early afternoon or morrning.

ok thanks don. Yeah i reckon thats the reason. Near the end I did relax alot more and felt myself drifting off. But I soon awoke my mind to dry and lucid dream.
Also why did my eyes keep twitching. What it because my bod y was trying to get to sleep?
Yeah, sometimes eyes will twitch when you’re falling asleep.
