If there was a way...

Ok, I’m pretty sure this idea is not unique as I’ve thought that some people or lots of people might have the same idea, but i hadn’t seen it here on the forum, so I decided to bring it up.

You know how EVP works right? You can hear and sometimes see the super natural through tape recorders or in static in recorded videos.

That only mkaes me think that it might be possible to record your dreams, you know, something to hear or even see. What if you could actually record your dreams on tape or video? I think that would be so cool–of course, that would mean that DR would become completely obsolete, but to re-live a dream in front of your eyes without having to dream it over again would be awesome. Technology has taken us a way ahead, I wonder when something like this might be invented?

Hopefully soon, the dreams are made from different points of input, your brain generates how somthing woud feel/look etc in a dream. So what if you took that input and put the output to a video? The concept is easy but the method would be rather difficult. Good thing there are scientists for that lol

Yeah, but too bad they’re wasting their time on animal testing and stem cell research… :grrr:

LOL Love the avatar WhiteWolf :ok:

If its even possible, I doubt it will happen any time soon.

How could a machine record our preception of something?

My theory is that when you dream, you dont actually dream everything you remember. You brain gives you small clues and hints as to what the sensations are, and you fill in the rest to create the “story”. When you wake up, you have to fill in the gaps that the dreamworld left.

At least, thats what I think  if im right, it it would be near impossible to record the dreams the way you actually remembered them. It would turn out to be something like a…fuzzy picture.

Ah well. It makes sense to me, at least.

Well there are allready computers that can be "controlled "by the power of the thought.
In a way dream recorder can be made -maybe not as a recorder as we know it but more as the machine seeing which brain spots were active and then giving us a possibile list of things that might have been dreamed of.
And from then all it needs is to be developed.

“Anything that the mind of man can concieve is possible” - Albert Einstein.

ExDee, I am quite sure my dreams are exactly as I remember them. I usually get images and visions from the dream BEFORE I remember the sensations.

The picture wouldn’t have to be fuzzy, if they’re smart enough to figure out how to even make it capture your dreams, making it a clear picture would be no problem.
