does anyone have any suggestions to prevent boredness?
Get an XBox 360 and play all summer.
but I don’t have £300 and I don’t want to be on a game or computer all summer. Dang it.
Graduate.
but… but… garrrrrghhh
Try an MMORPG they manage to kill some time. Or watch anime… Well that’s the way I kill boredom at least ^^"
Well… do what you usually do for fun, say: watch TV, read, play games. Then go out for a walk or do exercise. When you come home, you’ll feel really tired and want to have some fun/relax and resume with your previous activity, you won’t be as bored as before.
Trust me, you won’t even have a chance of getting bored after you graduate.
yer you’re right about that… not saying I know what it’s like… but I can imagine… vauguely…
This is kind of my schedule for killing time:
Play on the computer - Eat - Watch TV - Take a snack - Walk my dog - Play on the computer - Watch tv - Eat - Walk my dog - Play on my computer - Watch tv.
And my exercise come from walking to the fridge and back
(You could think I’m fat but I’m not It kind of runs in the family to be able to eat almost anything and still not get the least fat
(My school is kind of in center of the city so my classmates live far from where I live, which leaves me with a pretty bad social life on holidays and weekends but I spend so much time with them in school so it’s nice NOT to be with them sometimes )
You could always buy a good book to read, that is like the classical way of killing time
yeah I am getting the new Harry Potter book soon.
XD You could always make little goals to keep you pre-occupied–
Like, I love drawing, so…
I need to get a (new) group picture of my charries done, paint, colour, ect.ect…
You could always write stuff up for fun XD
Or roleplay-- or… play the playground games endlessly–
Or go on addictinggames and rot your mind--
Or go get an outside hobby! Or perfect something you like doing…
Or even find inner peace
There’s lots of things to do! Just takes effort to find them…
I’m buying it too! Soon…
Eeep-- The Hp books might be a good passtime, but They’re all consuming! Everyone likes reading them in one sitting!
Why not try seeing just how many books you could read? XD
Wouldn’t taht be something? 100 books in one week?
XD
I’m gonna try and make it last! Unlike a lot of people…
and I’m learning Just by Radiohead… on the guitar!!
O0o0o :3 Well-- There’s another thing, learning!
So i guess music is one of your hobbies then XD
Haha, there’s another one! Musical instruments… I’ve been ignoring my Orcarina for too long-- i should go play that.
^^~ Orcarinas are cool, I reccomend people get some-- they sound nice and are easy to play XD
Y’can spend a few hours just playing away and making songs-- It gets addictive after a bit.
i want to get one of those… what’s it like? Isn’t it like a recorder or flute? ( i mean what it sounds like)
It sounds like a bit of both, actually. Not quite as sharp as a flute, but with the same wholesome quality of a recorder :3
I got mine from songbird.com And from various misc. vendors-- sometimes, a music store just randomly has them. XD
So far though-- my best quality orcarina has been from the site It’s a Zelda orcarina! XD
^^~ It’s fun to play, I’m certainly not bored when I pick it up XD
I would advise you to get a good book (The count of monte cristo, for example), sleep more, so you can LD more, cook your food (It can get very time consuming, and fun if you are the right type), and create stuff (instructables.com has some nice ideas, especially chain maille)
get a job!
