im new and trying to find good method

ok im new and trying to find a good method… a had 2lds 2 nights ago and i was not useing any method

some take to long for me like mild- i cant fall asleep while chanting to myself
wild- have not tryed much

To be honest it sounds like you’re a natural. You might find that you don’t need to use any method. When I first started consciously trying to bring about LD’s I simply tried a variety of methods until I found one that worked for me, I enjoyed Sigil induced LDing, but that was mainly because I made the sigils on fairy cakes and then ate them :wolfbite:

In the end I found that the best way was just to keep a dream diary and read through it before going to sleep.

Like I said, just try them out until you find one that works.

You could try FILD. It doesn’t take much effort. Look in my signature.

Anyway I usually just do Auto-Suggestion. I also find that for some reason I notice dream signs more often when I’m sleeping in the morning after already waking up one or more times.

These “Naturals” tend to pay more detailed attention toward life in general and less time daydreaming, thinking, ect. They also tend to remember dreams on a normal basis, maybe not writing them down, but make a fun ritual out of remembering them. I don’t believe in “naturals” lol, just people who pay more attention. ^_<

He/she might be right, just try to do tell yourself gently before sleep, "The next time I am dreaming, I WILL remember to recognize I am dreaming. You might induce an LD without much effort than most. Give it a go! :content:

One technique I’ve had success with is the counting technique. It’s a type of WILD, but very easy to do if you fall asleep fast.

If you wake up in the morning but you are still tired and have some time left to sleep, simply count to yourself in your mind, “1, I’m dreaming…2, I’m dreaming…” etc. With any luck, in a little while you will find yourself in a dream, still counting and saying “I’m dreaming,” which should remind you that you are in fact dreaming.

Just try reading alot about ld, before you go to sleep and you’ll probobly have one. Or just do WBTB it’s fairly straight forward

People say things like this all the time, the thing is that it never works for me. =P lol They say when you hear about it, you will have one for the first time, I don’t believe this. Shrug
