I'm SOO close to WILD!

Here’s what just happened.

On Monday I got a concussion in Wrestling, so I’ve been home ever since and I got back into my lucid dream interest. I love’d WILD because the transition from SP to a Lucid State is exhilarating to me, but I haven’t been successful at all this week.

Anway, I started trying to sleep on my back, and while I do get very comfortable and numb in this position, I have never actually fallen asleep. I even got into the beginning stages of SP, but I became wide awake before anything happen.

What i’ve been doing is getting comfy, putting on my over ear skull candy headphones with the app “iBrainwave”. In this app I can set the frequency to match my desired brain activity level, and since this was a mid-day nap, I wanted to try a WILD! I set the app to the lowest level (Sleep at 4.O Hz and got nice and relaxed on my back. Over time, my entire body would numb head to toe, and the vibrations and rushed feelin of SP would overcome me. Now usually one I got here, I was golden, But everytime the feelings start, I start to breathe heavy and it goes away leaving me awakened, and sheet outta luck.

Is there anything I can do differently to help me relax more on my back, and actually fall asleep while staying concious??

I’ve noticed that naps won’t work if you get enough sleep at night. So it’s very hard to fall asleep, but what I can tell you is that you don’t need to fall asleep on your back to do successful WILD.

You should fall asleep in position that is comfortable for you. For example I use SDR[stop, drop and roll] technique so I end on my side or on my belly for falling asleep. And that moment you described: “Over time, my entire body would numb head to toe, and the vibrations and rushed feelin of SP would overcome me.” This is the part where I let my self to fall asleep.

Sometimes is hard to fall asleep if you maintain high level of awareness through whole SP, so when you feel like you are close to this point when you need to fall asleep let yourself to drift a little bit, or better say try losing consciousness slowly and gradually so when you hit that point in SP you can easily fall asleep.

I hope this helps… Good luck!

I guess my latest 2-3 dreams have been WILDs cause I sense going into my dream body as if I’m a spirit or something. Then I look at my hands and I am AMAAAZED that I am IN the dream and able to move. Is this WILD? I dunno how I do it though - it just happens. I do take LD supplements at 5:00 am though - galantamine + choline.
