I'm trying WBTB for the first time.

Well, as the title says, I’m trying WBTB for the first time, and I’m following the guide’s idea, I set my alarm for 6 hours after I fell asleep (woke up pretty awake, another reason I think my sleep cycle is round 90 minutes) and I’m waking up for an hour and browsing the forum for all my questions. Then I’m going to do MILD and try to get my absolute first lucid dream.

I have a question though.

Am I doing it right?

If it’s working for YOU, then you’re doing it right. There’s no ‘‘best technique’’ or ‘‘best way’’ to become Lucid. You have to find what’s best for you.

But, when I read your post, I think you’re doing it right!

Yeah, stick with your current method for a while. If you find it’s not helping, you can do things like change the amount of time you’re awake. Personally it works best for me when I’m only up for a few minutes. In many cases I don’t even leave my bed, I just concentrate on lucid dreaming. You can also adjust the amount of time you sleep. If you find you’re too awake then you could shorten the amount of time you sleep.

In any case, you’re not doing anything wrong. Best of luck :content:
