I'm unsure...what would be the right option?

So, two days ago I started “working” on having LD, by finding a Dream Journal, and prepare myself to remember my dreams.
First time I did it I went to bed at 3.00. Ihad a quite vivid dream with a pre-lucid moment, and I remembered it amazingly well.

Yesterday I changed my routine to try the WBTB technique…but yesterday morning I didn’t remember a thing about my dreams, and this morning only feeble memories…BUT I had a dream about dreaming and talking about dreams (and about Freddy Krueger…but whatever…)

So…what should I do? Change my routine back or not?

I’d suggest you stick with the new routine a bit. It might have been just a dry night or two - give WBTB another chance.

At the same time, remember that you might not be the WBTB type of a person.

As you might have already learned from the different threads there are many different techniques that can be used to induce lucid dreams. Different people respond differently to each technique. In my experience, binaural beats has been the most effective method Iv used. Edit
Keeping a dream journal is always key, and reality checks are always helpful.
You started the routine just 2 days ago so I would recommend sticking to it at least for a week and if nothing happens, movie on to trying new methods.

thanks for the advice; I think I’ll stick with the new routine, also because it looks like things are working: with the same timing and technique (and with the aid of cinnamon rather than milk) I remembered TWO dreams from this night!
Unfortunately…when I first woke up (6.30 am) I was too tired to write down the first dream, and just drifted back to sleep…so when I woke up again (10.00 am) I didn’ remember it at all! But since it seems to be working…I’ll keep trying!

PS:
Also, I am noticing that the movies/books/comics that I watch during the day seem to appear often in my dreams. I’ve been dreaming of Death Note, the Nightmare series and some Hentai comics just the nights after I’ve read/watched them!!
