Say I got to the point where I could lucid dream every night, could I start a dream life, and each time I lucid dream just jump back into that life? One of my lives I would like to live is Tony Montana from Scarface - could it be each time I lucid I wake up in Tony’s bed, in his mansion and go about a days work?
What about being a solider in a war, and waking up in the jungle trying to finish my mission?
Is it possible to live two lives, one when you’re awake, and one you’re asleep…?
There was a point a long time ago where i was doing that, but its a little hard to try and live inside a world that doesnt have rules, it tends not to hold a stable outlook. imo anyway.
If you want to read about someone who did almost exactly that (it’s more of a world than a life) go to the Dream Journal forum and look at Writerscube’s DJ.
This too is a dream of mine, I can imagine though that it’s going to be a bit weird, and could ultimately make you a little off, lol. Yeah it’s going to be fun as hell, but at the same time, I’d start getting confused about things from my dream life and waking life. It reminds me of that movie “Science of Sleep”, because it pretty much was the same idea, heh.
Anyway, I think you should go for it, and I definately will too. Should be interesting.
You already know how to Li10…I think you’re just stressing about it too much, which is what’s holding you back. You should look into more things related to meditation / relaxation when approaching lucid dreaming. Hell, you might even want to take a small break.
Anyway, back on topic, I’m going to start persuing this “other life” tonight, regardless if I’m lucid or not. You don’t have to be lucid to lead another life .
