Is it WILD or Vibrations? Help Pls!!!!!!!

Hello Friends,
I hv been trying to hv Ld using pills. I must say, they work effectively for me. The main problem i encounter by trying to Ld using pills is that, these pills (Galantamine and choline) work after one hour,i.e, i start feeling the effects after an hour and sometimes i get so excited that i do not fall asleep and hence no effect. However, one thing i noticed, most of the time, i get a strange sensation which i quite hard to describe. I may describe it as something sucking up my body while my body is resisting due to gravity, increase in body temperature, feeling of numbness, sometimes a floating sensation without accompanied by vibrations. These sensations lasts a few seconds (30 seconds) and then they subsidise. Then, either i wake up (due to excitement) or enter into non lucid dream. My questions are:

  1. Is this what they call sleep paralysis? But i do not see any shadowy figures or buzzing sounds?
  2. How to utilize these sensations to enter into a highly vivid lucid dream?

Thank you for your response!!!

Hey lucky1990,
I recommend you take the natural route of obtaining lucid dreams, pills really mess up your body’s chemistry plus it’s not 100% effective.

Regarding the information you’ve provided, those are the many sensations that accompany SP, sleep paralysis is the body’s way of protection. SP is when the brain releases a chemical to the body to stop any movement, this way you can’t act out your dreams, therefore you wouldn’t be able to hurt yourself. When you reach SP, you aren’t able to move at all, and you could also feel numbness all over…but it really varies with everyone.
From what I’ve read, I think you were close to having an OOBE. You described floating sensations and feeling like your body was being sucked up. OOBEs usually start with you separating from your body.
Also, when you get into SP you don’t automatically hallucinate shadow peoples and what not. SP is not scary at all, you’re in control of the hallucinations. If you’re afraid, then you’ll hallucinate scary things. The reason why so many people find it scary is because it’s not something you experience daily, it’s rare to wake up to SP and being unable to move, of course a bunch of scary things are running through your mind, hence scary hallucinations.

To get into a dream with those many sensations you’ve listed, just stay still and be calm. Be patient and wait for the dream to form. If you feel the sucking/floating sensation, don’t resist it. Let yourself go. There are also visualization techniques you could use to get into the dream quicker. You just gotta use your imagination. :content: :content:
