Is there anyone else who learned a power in a LD in seconds?

I learned some sort of fire and ice power by cupping up my hands(With an amount of space between),and then thinking of the element in my head?(Then it kinda appears in my hand).
I can only throw it at people(didnt try anything else),so thats why ill try to do other things with it.
By the way, this is my 3rd one.

You know, for some strange reason, reading this post gave me the idea to try something new in my next LD. I have difficulty transforming myself into other things, so I’m going to try turning someone else into a pig.

I had this one crazy dream where I discovered I could use telekinesis… When I woke up I seriously thought I had psychic powers for a few minutes. I was so disappointed.

First time I tried to summon fire I used telekinesis instead

I found that if you completely believe that something will work, it will. For example, in my first LD, I could do ANYTHING. Some people say they had to practice, but everything worked well right off the bat because I didn’t doubt it. Then, in my second to last LD, I doubted that I was trying to teleport right (which it wouldn’t have mattered if I was faithful in it anyways), and because I didn’t believe in it, I had a hard time making it work…

When in desperate situations, yes.

I’ve once made myself invisible be staring at my shadow on the wall and making it disappear, which was rather useful standing next to a models dressing room.

In my last LD I’ve created fire, it was like I’ve done that a million times, but it was my first time, I think that the need of the weapon triggered that unknown knowledge !

Years ago I sometimes drowned in my dreams, and kept waking up by that. But once in a dream with a river and a bridge I was under water again, but I convinced myself that I dreamed, and at that point I could breath under water. Since then I can effortless breath under water .

I’m able to come up with new powers any time I perceive myself in danger. One time a DC that looked like an evil spirit was attacking me and I was able to banish it without even having to think about it. I haven’t been able to use that power regularly since.

Wulf, I have the opposite problem. I’m not able to drown myself. I’ve tried before to change dreamscenes, hoping a form of suicide would get me to teleport or change dreams more easily. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked yet.

I have learned a power in an ND before. Well, a version of a power. I learned a new flying technique from my best flying episode ever while in an ND. (Technically that would make it an FLD, but I won’t go into that atm. ) Wow, I remember another interesting superpower in an old ND too. Not sure if I would classify that as an FLD, though, since I was more of a character in a story who was supposed to have those powers. But now that I think about it, I’m not too good at coming up with powers in LDs themselves… Oh, the irony.

Happens to me as well, I get down into water, and completely unable to drown  (maybe useful when already lucid, but what as a missed DS? :meh:)

Much like Faith, I could do anything in my first LD without even trying, I grew wings and flew down stairwell in my house, jumped back up it, went into my room, saw the incredible hulk coming out of my closet, grew four arms and kicked his a** (not even joking).

I used to be able to do anything just by thinking about it, like when I wanted to shoot energy beams from my hands; I went around town blowing holes in trees without even thinking about it, I just tensed up my arm, felt my Chi or whatever-you-wanna-call-it building up, aimed and then let it go, good fun.

Only thing I had problems with is walking through walls, sometimes I hesitate at the last second because I don’t know what’s on the other side instead of just letting my SC take care of it when I get there, I end up with my leg and half my head stuck in the wall.

Well the only power I’ve had a chance to try was flying, and I did that in less then a second… the moment I thought of it I went floating through the air…
