Is this a good way to practice MILD?

This is how I have been practicing MILD this week:

*during the day, I have a LD goal prepared and feel excited about it
*I take a peaceful walk right before going to sleep, and imagine my surroundings as a lucid dream
*I go to bed early, usually somewhere around 9 PM
*I decide to wake up at every REM stage, and note down key points of the dreams I had - usually I have about 2 or 3 micro-awakenings every night
*I fall back to sleep again, sometimes while repeating a mantra of some sort

This actually seems to work really well for me, I became lucid once last week and twice this week - but is it something that I should keep up with?
Also, does it matter that all my LD’s start out in my bed?
Because I do seem to get lucid dreams quite easily nowadays if I really strive for it, but they all start out as False Awakenings for some reason.
Basically, I have a bunch of vivid ND’s, then I suddenly seem to wake up and realize it’s another one of those FA’s.

If you feel like it works well for you then you should keep practicing it. You could also try to find ways to build upon your technique to make it even better.

I’d recommend reality checking every time you wake up in the middle of the night, but there isn’t much of a point if you’re already lucid.

Well that’s great, I also like how you take a walk and imagine your surroundings as a LD. I have to say, the most dream like moments are just those when I’m going home at night from my friends or cousins house. The thing is that my street was in so many of my dreams and it brings up the memories and also the imagination. I always imagine how great this would be if it would be a dream.

Nice, quite atmosphere, yellow street lamp light, just dream like…

If things work good for you then by all means keep with this way, I would only suggest meditation if you feel like doing it… I think it might help you a LOT!

Good luck! :content:
