Is this an official technique..?

So I will try keep this short.
Last night I went to bed and set my alarm for 6 hours later.
I woke up and stayed up for 20min.
Then I tried falling asleep again.
My initial plan was to hopefully perform a DILD during my longer stages of REM, but I was battling to falling asleep. So instead, when I was on the verge of sleeping, that point where you are starting to think about weird dream scenes but are still awake, I focussed all my attention and imagined that i was rubbing my dream hands together.
Now while I did this, I was still awake. So I wasnt in the dream yet. My hands started tingling and then bam i was all of a sudden standing on top of my bed. I floated down to the floor, tried a few anchoring techniques, but sadly woke up.

QUESTION: is this method i did a well known method, or is it simply a variation of a WILD performed in conjunction with a WBTB? :help:
