Is this what WILD feels like?

Last night, my first serious attempt to have a lucid dream, I think I almost managed to enter a sleeping state using WILD.

I’d spent almost the entire day doing reality checks and mentally training myself to remind myself that I’m dreaming; and I’ve been having fairly vivid dreams for the past week. So last night, I was laying in bed going through some silly mantra to remind myself to dream when I felt like my hands were exceedingly light–now I’m quite familiar with how I fall asleep and everything, and this is rare. It was as if my body was becoming lighter, and my mind was trying to escape… something like that.

But being a skeptical person by nature, I just thought I was cutting the bloodflow to my arms because they were above my head and moved them; the sensation disappeared altogether and I felt a lot more awake at the same time.

So in the end I didn’t have a lucid dream, but I did have two fairly vivid dreams! The question is, though… is this what WILD is supposed to feel like?

Sounds like an OOBE. :content:

I have felt things like that when trying to wild. But the times i successfully wilded i didn’t feel those things. The difference is i have successfully wilded whe ni woke up during the night, and i have felt those strange sensations when first going to bed.
But yeah those are wild sensations. or OBE if you wanna go that way.

I don’t really believe in OBEs, so I’ll stick with it being something like WILD.

Thanks!
