Does anyone have any tips? I have been keeping a DJ in the dream diaries forum, and doing RCs and trying techniques at night, but I haven’t had any success, am I doing something wrong or not doing something I should?
They will come eventually.
Make sure you are trying WBTBs and every single other method that you come across.
You have to want it.
When I got my first lucid dream I was in the wake portion of a WBTB and I just knew I was going to have it. I find that if you convince yourself and you really believe it, you will have at least a few.
yea don’t worry u will have a LD eventually! just stay confident!!!
I’m going to do FILD + WBTB you should too!
How long have you been doing this? It can really take some time but when it happens it’s going to be big surprise.

I’ve been attempting to LD seriously for about a month. Since I joined the board really
i don’t think “believe it and it will come” will help…
it would be nice, if you tell us, what techniques you use and maybe some other information about you like if you’re motivated or not or anything like that, you know…
if you do so, we can help you and well… the time from hearing about lucid dreaming to your first lucid dream can be very different from person to person, i had my first intentional lucid dream 6 days after i heard about lucid dreaming for the very first time and my second one after 10, so 4 days after the first one. everything is possible.
Month is what it took me to get my first LD and it was purely through practicing RC’s. My starting level was where I barely remembered any dreams at all (about one per month).
Hope this helps.

Choose 1 technique. Something that appeals to you deeply. Something that you think sounds fun, that you think is worthwhile to do. Then practice that technique diligently, and only that technique. Practice becomes habit. Habit becomes way of life. Way of life comes naturally. With practice comes lds with ease.
