I’ve heard about lucid dreams, but i’m just getting curious with them now. I have dreams every night, and i know i have these dreams, because i tell a friend at school about them everyday in detail. I was wondering if i have dreams this often, and i remember them in detail, does that improve my chance to get a lucid dream? If so, how can i work on harnessing the ability to lucid dream in my case?
Welcome to LD4all Drtbikeridr
If you remember you dreams, you can look for dreamthemes. You can use these dream themes to become lucid. You need to learn to recognise this in the dream and when you do you become lucid. For example if you dream a lot about phones, you can do a RC everytime you do something with a phone. Another example would be that you are in a dream and suddenly realise you often dream about such thing. You think about it and realise you are dreaming.
Also if you have a good dream recall, you have a larger chance of remembering your lucid dreams. I’ve experienced that I knew I had a lucid dream but it was just hard to remember the dream. You can often remember your lucid dreams better if you have good dream recall, so in that way it is certainly an advantage.
ya, I am currently working on RC’s, but i just can’t quite remember to do them in my dreams…last night while i was up looking on the forums, i was making it a habit to touch my pointer finger to my palm every 5 minutes or so, so hopefully i would do it in my dream, but it just didn’t happen. my dreams just feel so real, and i don’t even realize its a dream. I’ve done some research about MILD, and WILD, but thats gonna take some practice. does anyone have any advice on how to remember to do RC’s in the dream?
EDIT: im going to try the WBTB method tonight, if anyone has any suggestions on that, please tell me by tonight.
