Kava

Yes I know there have been small discussions about Kava, but I would like to make a topic because I think it could be a very powerful LD tool.

First off, It only takes 20 min to kick in, and makes you extremely tired. Also, I woke up half way through the night ( but was able to fall right back asleep) which would be nice for WBTB.

I bought mine from Kona Kava Farm, ( just google it) and be careful about where you buy it because it can be almost poisonous if you buy it from a place that doesn’t know much about it. ( AKA, they use the wrong part of the plant)

Its not too expensive, like $15 for a half pound, and I only use 2 tablespoons per cup of water.

And by the way, the taste is horrid, you just have to deal with that part.

I thought you were talking to me LOL. I use to make tea out of Kava, it taste pretty good, but leaves your mouth feeling numb. The indians have a Kava regioul when drinking it, and… Dont tell anyone if you drink enough of it you can get high.

Kava you should follow your own advice ?

The Yogi tea brand tastes good, has cinnamon and sarsaparilla in it

Lol, yeah I love it, and its legal in the US.

Hmm, actually boiling it kills one of the main ingredients of Kava. Your supposed to put it in a muslin bag and squish it into cold water.

Also, everyone says it leaves your mouth numb, but I never get that. Probably cuz I down it with milk to kill the flavor.

this is a very good sleep aide,
it makes you stay asleep and wake up in the morning say “hey, i feel… rested.”

but it makes you wake up kind of feeling drunk and off balance for an hour or so, too ?

(in a pleasant way, its nothing like poisonous alcohol)

yeah i have the kava yogi tea its pretty…i have been trying to find a non precription drug to help me with my sleep…i never feel any success with the tea but still like it lol

I was thinking about buying this myself however it looks like it is banned in the UK
food.gov.uk/foodindustry/imp … d/kavakava
I can’t really see how dangerous this stuff could be.

making nature against the law is a crime.
