Keeping LD's Alive?

Ok So I havn’t yet had my first, but i think I’m close!

I saw a guy on this forum saying his dreams sometimes feel like 2 weeks dream time, LUCID!!

Is it possible to maybe make something in the dream world that would keep it stable? Like a device to shout “More Clear” or something, every five seconds. or make the place you are spin constantly (like the earth does and we dont feel it) to keep it going? Or are their any other methods,

I don’t wanna get my first and instantly loose it
Thanks!

I’m fairly sure you are referring to Writerscube, who has created a “dream clock” that tracks dreamtime alongside realtime. This would probably qualify as creating a dream object to prolong the dream. However, I don’t think the inventions you described–the lucidity alarm and the earth spinner–would do any good because they would quickly become predominant elements in the dream and may cause more harm than good in the long run. Plus, with the spinner you would become disoriented.

I think that (unless you are Writerscube) the best way to prolong a dream is to just be practical. Prepare in real life for the moment when you become lucid. Use the first moments of lucidity to ensure the survival of the dream. Then, simply pay attention and, if the dream requires some assistance, provide some sensory stimulation. Nothing too complicated.

Oh okay thanks, he must be like a dream-gineer then is he xD
