LD from SP

This morning I ‘woke up’ in SP. I was able to see part of my room - the curtains, but I realised that my digital piano was missing (first time I used a dreamsign to become lucid, yay). Unfortunately, moving was a big problem. I managed to slowly shift towards the edge of my bed (took ages) and then fell in a heap onto the floor (lol). From here I noticed that my uni room and my room back home were kind of merged together, and everything was fully realistic. Alas, I still couldn’t move and after feeling stupid for a few seconds woke up in RL.

This is the second time I have become lucid but have been unable to move. Any tips?

It depends:
If paralysis is leaking to dream from reality, you need to fall deeper in dream, I guess. Few voice comands would help, if you can’t speak try to just think them.

If it’s imagined thing (Which propably is - you had one LD like that, so you expected it to happen again), you just need to understand that it’s not real and all you need to do is to realize that you’re setting limits for yourself. Don’t try to fight SP, know that it doesn’t exists and you can stand up if you want so.

And don’t expect it to happen again - it’s just willing yourself to waste another LD.

Thanks for the advice. I think it was probably a bit of both. I’ll try and talk myself into moving the next time it happens

If that doesn’t work, what you could do is just believe that what you’re stuck to is just like water and fall through it.

Like, for instance, if you’re stuck to your bed, just feel yourself sinking through it like water, and make yourself unstuck.

I hope that made sense. It made sense in my head. I don’t know if it translated though…ah well

I have woken up in SP a few times. Most commonly when passed out on my bed with my girlfriend during mid day. Sex really drains me, especially after doing it three times. I shall speak no more of that however!

Upon ‘waking’ I could see my room and my dream at the same time, I could hear sounds in my room and in my dream. Everything was really blurry, it’s kinda cool XD

I’ve once felt SP and it seemed like i was going to have a LD but i had an OBE instead… It feels really weird… like someone (or someTHING  ) is holding you back, through your pillow. The best thing to do is relax and let it come to you… you’ll either have a LD or OBE or something like that!

I have a question regarding SP.

I experienced what I thought was SP last night, my arms were all shaky and tingling for no reason seemingly. Apparently, when SP ensues you cannot move at all, I tried to move and I could, so I guess it wasn’t SP. I was counting my breaths, I was in the 300’s with no real SP. I got up and ate some Reese Puffs, after performing rigorous RCs XD

So was this SP, or just something weird?

Yes, you are right.
