little WBTB idea I'm trying.

Whenever I want to sleep in I sometimes have an FA, set my alarm to 30 minutes later, and then the alarm wakes me up and I realize that it hasn’t been set forward, or I set it forward then have FAs dreaming that it’s almost time to get up and I want to set it forward more.

So I have this alarm clock that lets you set two different alarms at once, and I decided I would set it to wake me up at 4:04 (chosen for symmetry) I then took a sticky note, wrote various things I want to do in it (self hypnosis this time around I never remember to do it while lucid) , and then RC!

this is completely covering the clock so I can’t see what time it is.

This if working in highest efficiency serves three purpoes:

  1. if i look at the clock and can see the time it means I’m dreaming.
    if i look at the clock and see the paper i might RC…
  2. when it reaches 4:04 I’ll probably wake up and decide to turn the alarm off, or have FAs… hopefully I’ll decide to leave it on… at any rate it will cause higher arousal than normal during the night. If the alarm wakes me up i’ll be groggy, pissed off, and tired, and will have to read the sticky while turning it off, so then it will be easy to WILD.
  3. through conditioning if I keep the alarm set to 4:04 I may be able to … somehow or another, attain better higher lucidity wilds, without needing an alarm, and without completely and fully waking… if this doesn’t work right once i start waking up before the alarm at 4:04 I’ll change it to 3:03 or 5:05

also whenever I see times such as 4:04 or 5:05 I will probably do an RC.

see normally I don’t get into good WILD potential until right before I have to get up, so I figure 4:04 gives me enough time to get back to sleep and have a long LD before I have to get up in the morning… I’ll let you guys know how it works.

also I think I will use this morning state in order to train myself to WILD by saying “I can WILD at will…” i will always 100% succeede at this time of morning so it should help work as self hypnosis and conditioning at the same time.

I, myself am in the middle of the WBTB. I just had a dream of talking about Lucid dreams, so… hopefully great chance to LD :grin: .

Well, I really like the plan for your WBTB. Your plan outta work because you’ve got alot of energy on it and you are positive.
And if it does not work right away, it will soon. and I see that this will be one of your best techniques.

wow sounds awsome. i just recently started trying WBTB method mixed in with WILD. and i think ill give this a try seeing as though i havent yet been succesfull with WBTB (i only tried once)

Just letting you know that I DID have a Lucid dream, a great one!
