This is just a thought but how about, as soon as you realize that you are lucid, you become one of the characters in a favorite story. For example, if you like The Hobbit you could become Bilbo Baggins. Or, if you prefer The Lord of the Rings, you could be Frodo or any of the other characters. And then there is always the Harry Potter Universe.
This is actually kind of one of my goals!
Except a little different…
I use to play an MMORPG called EverQuest and I miss it a lot… Anyways, I have ND sometimes where I am my character from the game and I think it would be soooo much better if it were an LD.
I haven’t really thought about a movie universe, but that would be great too!
I would like to be in the Lord of the Rings universe.
This actually reminds me of a dream I had a few months ago. In it, I was James Bond, reliving the events of Casino Royale . The scary thing is that during the dream, I had absolutely no memories of my normal life. To the best of my knowledge, I was James Bond. I had his memories, his personality, and his emotions. It really freaked me out when I woke up, because if my mind can genrate a completely new set of memories and personalities, how do I know my current life is the one I’ve always had?
I want to reenact the Hogwarts Battle and actually witness the death of Voldemort. That would be so cool and of course attend Hogwarts (classes and everything) for a day, just to see what it would be like.
Sometimes when I’m finding it hard to go to sleep I make up a story from a movie/book/television program and bring myself into it. Also, because my brain is active, its a good way to get lucid dreams anyway…I really want to try this now… yeah man…
I’ve always thought it would be cool to read an old account of someone’s. Like an account of someone who lived through World War II. You read a chapter a night. And live it out in the dream in the night.
One of my goals is to do something like this. I would like to be my own self in the land. I would influence the storyline and see what happens. How would it be if Harry had died before (Harry Potter Spoiler)
Voldemort killed him. Then he may have actually died and then Neville or someone would have to finish off Voldemort.
What if (slight Lord of the Rings spoiler)
Sauron did recover the Ring. Would the forces of men be able to stop him without the help of the diminished forces of the elves? Or might Aragorn have sought an alliance with the dwarves?
Among others. I would retain all dream powers to mess with the storyline.
