ok, I am new to lucid dreaming…well I have recently been doing excersises. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has heard of a series of games called Final Fantasy?? I think these are perfect and go exactly with Lucid dreaming…These games are all about magic and adventure and are one of the best things I have in my life. I have many of the games, and play them constantly…Then I thought, after being so engrossed in the FF games, I wondered, how cool would it be to acutally experience final fantasy for yourself?? summon creatures, ride dragons, fight battles??? and then a whole desperation and longing to become part of final fantasy, or something similar, (maybe altered to my liking 
) caught me. and so now, I have discovered a way to do this!
has anyone else played FF games?? if not, I STRONGLY recommend it. They are so awe inspiring, and will give you loads of ideas for your LDs
Ah well, I play some games so much I even dream about playing them. Final Fantasy is… ok… =P

Well lets say they are making to much sequals, as if they’d be trying to make money from a good selling game (well the game sells good at first; e.g.: all the expansion packs for the Sims 
). Though I’d say Crystal Chronicles is fun to multiplay with friends

well, they are all different from each other…I think now its getting a bit stiff for ideas, but its still strong…i liked CC but it lacked lifespan…you couldnt really do much, but i love the idea, like travelling, and food and stuff

But yeah, adventures are always fun; summon some characters and do a quest (retrieve some item from a tower). (Don’t use ur lucid powers to much, else it isn’t fun XD). In that tower there are all sorts of passages and monsters… lol…

hey Dream Oracle i know exactly what you mean. when i first heard about lucid dreaming i thought… well i could fly but big deal… then i thought about all the many final fantasy games i play and was like… wow… if i could live one of these games that would be the greatest thing. I’ve come pretty close to doing some ff related things such as fighting monsters, magic and such related stuff. I play them over and over too so don’t feel alone lol. I’ve been to besaid in a lucid dream before
Star Wars would also be awesome, wiping out stupid robots with your laser sable 
You ever tried fighting battles with ATB or CTB?

uve been to BESAID!!! wow!. cool!. I so really badly want to do that…im glad someone has the same thoughts as i do:) FF is just the thing for LDs. Imagine an ATM battle though…and magic…ive never done these things before so i don’t know what it feels like .hopefully it will come to me soon…

I’ve recently been engrosed in World of Warcraft an I have the same feelings. I can’t wait to do stuff from the game. I’ve also liked the idea of participating in movies, The matrix would be fun.
Why don’t we try to have a SD (why not encode that to SLD?) and play FF from there? 
I played a bit of #8 once at a friend’s house and I have to say it was the best game I’ve ever played, but I don’t have a playstation and so that was the only time. 
Well, I have dreams just like that all the time anyway! I might not play Final Fantasy, but I do read an awful lot of fantasy novels, and fantasy-like things are constantly turning up in my dreams almost every night. In my experience, if you do something often enough (like read or play fantasy) it’s bound to start turning up in your dreams sooner or later automatically!
Well this is kind of weird, I just wathed Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within this morning.
Anyway, I have 2, 3, & Mystic Quest on the Super Nintendo, 7 & 8 on the PS1, 10 on the PS2, FF3 Legends on the Gameboy, and 1 & 2 on the GBA. And yeah, it would be sweet to have an FF LD, I can see it right now:
Summon a water elemental to hold off the skeleton knights coming right at me un tilthe wizard can heal the other guys, then we find a secret passage but it closes behind us and we have to fight a giant dinosaur skeleton thing, and it drops a key which opens the final door at the top of the tower and we bring the Staff of Vardus back to the Chrysidians and they give us nothing in return, all they do is go “Thanks you for returning this most treasured item! Now be gone!”
I’m a big fan of the FF series (8 in particular is my fav…even though the graphics are kinda choppy compared to the newer versions) Anyway what I did was download the mp3 for FF8 and play the whole cd on repeat when i go to sleep. I have found that while listening, they help me sleep deeper. I also notice that I wont dream about FF8 on the nights I listen to the music. If i sleep to it for about a week and then not listen to it on the 8th night (8th…get it
