Anyways. Ive been reading through various posts and it sounds sometimes like
lucid dreaming is some scary shit D. Actually im freaking out.Because i really want
to learn to lucid dream but i dont want to have an heart attack or something
It’s all in your head. Whats there to be scared of? I will admit when I had my first LD I was a little creeped out at the thought that I was actually dreaming yet it seemed completely real. Your in control of your dreams, so keep practicing LDs, you’ll love it.
thanks for advice

As Lizard King says, practise and experience some LD:s. You might experience some “bad” dreams, but if that happens just remember that they’re “dreams” and that you can control them.
I sometimes (very litltle) experience some “bad” dreams that might scare me a bit. But i know they’re just dreams and nothing else. I’ve got used too it so i don’t think to much about it and i’ll be the same for you once you’re learning LD.

You may experience some disturbing LDs, but truthfully, when you become a good lucid dreamer you can overcome nightmares much more easily. And I haven’t experienced a single negative lucid dream, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
In my opinion the Lucid Dreaming is not the scary part. (unless its a nightmare, but if your lucid then you could like transform the nightmare into some crazy party, or something of that nature)
I think that the most frightening part for me (in the beginning) was WILDing and the HIs and stuff like that. But believe me it is a blessing knowing that if i do wake up in sleep paralysis or if i have HIs that i know what they are and not some alien abduction.
So dont be afraid.

Why would you think LDs scary ?
I for my part have never found them scary , in fact it were nightmares who made me get atleast partly lucid for the first times . could you maybe say what exactly you find/found scary because i never ever read anywhere here anything about hearth attacks in connection with lucid dreams …
greetz /me
I tend to second luciddator. Only WILD may seem weird, a little bit scary, but you experience it everynight, you are just not conscious of it at all.
Also, you won’t have any bad lucid dreams if you don’t want them.
I myself am a bit creeped out about how the lucid world will look and feel. Not about pain or heart attacks, but just how real it is. Fear isn’t keeping me from it though, I won’t allow it.
You don’t have to worry about a thing, if you are scared in your LD, then conjure up a big punchbag, put a title on it named “Fear” and punch it with into oblivion
Don’t be afraid, nothing can happen to you while lucid dreaming. A couple weeks ago, I had a very very low-lucidity dream that was triggered by a statue moving, after a few seconds I lost it, but managed to regain lucidity in another part of the dream and it was the scariest thing because none of my DC had faces! I freaked out and instantly willed myself to wake up and I woke up. So just remember that you can exit anytime you want.
Just keep practicing… lol I should start again!
Thanks guys for advices and supports
i remember them days good luck, once you get past it yu will be in a world of your own creation and will love it.
good luck
At one point I had a lot of lucid dreams without knowing what it was. It freaked me out a little at the time., Now I just want to be able to have them again!
The two most common fears that can be overcome through practice are fear of death (OBEs, silver cords, death in LDs) and fear of the unknown (OBEs, WILD etc…). You just have to stay strong and experience an OBE, or a WILD and believe me, you wont be as scared anymore
