Lucid Dreaming Vs Astral Projection

Ok.
So, a couple of a questions.
I would very m much appreciate it if someone highly experienced in both could answer.
First of all,
How can you turn a lucid dream into an astral projection?
Is there any difference between astral projecting from dreaming than astral projecting from any other technique?
How can one be sure he is astral projecting and not lucid dreaming?

all help is very welcome and appreciated
thanks in advance
Ariel

Okay, this is a matter of perception; some people believe that there are LD’s and AP while others believe that AP is a lucid dream, which is my take.

Unfortunately I can’t answer these because I don’t have the experience there and because I think they are the same thing.

Okay, you know my answer by now but here is a link that might help:

few perspectives ,

one , the astral being simply , a place where real human spirits conduct their desires after death, or on other planets ,

in this sense, projecting, kind of hard to just do in a lucid dream, which is in your unconscious mind

some say LD = AP ,
hard to tell…
best bet, wander around the LD, pay attention to what you see, and ask to be taken to astral, heavenly realms !

Well
I do have some knowledge upon the subject.
First of all, the most common opinion is that in fact while dreaming you are in the Astral planes but instead of viewing the public astrals you are viewing your own subconscious.
You are creating your own surroundings and plot from your own imagination. Where is in APs you entering as a pure observer and therefore not effecting the surroundings and thus letting yourself experience the puclib astral planes.
In order to turn a lucid dream into an AP, what you have to do is to switch off the emotional fuel you are giving the dream, simply try and quit the dream.
One method of doing this is by focusing entirely on any object that can maintain your attention. If youll think about projecting, you’ll probably dream about projecting which can be very misleading indeed. When you focus on one thing you should notice a shift in the scenery at some point, maintain your focus until you are certain you are no longer fueling the dream. At that point you do not have to think about projecting as you are projecting.
you should maintain a passive state of mild curiousity at all times.
Let me know what you think

In the past I have most often thought of out of body experiences as imperfect lucid dreams. Let me explain… in a lucid dream you know you are dreaming and your body is asleep somewhere and usually you know exactly where. In an out of body experience you know you are sleeping and you know where your body is, but you don’t know you are dreaming. I suppose you could also assume you are dreaming AND out of body and the astral trip could also be a lucid dream, but I generally either conclude in the experience that it’s just a dream or that what I’m seeing is the real world.

That’s where things get tricky. I remember once having an experience and seeing people come up and look at me as I slept in my car. I then followed them more than 300 yards for more than 10 minutes, observing. Then I woke up and retraced their steps. As I did I asked people questions like, “Did Jenn come through here a few minutes ago and go out that door?” And people would say, “Yeah, but how do you know?” I’d answer, “Because I saw them come through and tell you how I was asleep and drooling on myself in the car.” I ended up catching up with the two young women and freaking the hell out of them.

And although the experience was freaky for everyone else, it was disturbing for me. I had to re-evaluate the assumption that OBEs are imperfect lucid dreams. After that I found that the out of body experiences were more persistent than normal lucid dreams. By this I mean clocks behave as normal, signs do not change, people do not have ten eyes. Also… people tend not to see you in these out of body experiences. I mean, in a normal lucid the two young women I was following around would probably interact with me or at least show signs that they knew I was there and the people and surroundings would change irrationally.

So, my personal opinion is that out of body experiences probably happen in REM sleep, may contain normal dream content, but can also become near perfect representations of objects and events in the physical world. I have tried turning lucids into OBEs with no luck. As with lucid dreams, the most sure-fire entry into an OBE is probably through WILD naps.

I know how to enter OBE/AP from waking life.
by the way, while APs and LDs can be compared as they both take place in the Astral.
OBEs are happening on the etheric plane so theyre a whole different thing.
There are several methods to turn LDs into APs or to enter the real time zone (OBE), I know a few for APs but not really familiar with how to make it an OBE.
