Hello all, this morning had a really long lucid right from the start of the dream. I had actually 3 dreams, the first being a normal but vivid one where I woke up at 4.50am. I wrote my dream journal then went back to sleep at 5.00am with the concept of being lucid and I went lucid after looking at my hand in the dream. It was a wonderfull feeling at first but I couldn’t change the scene even after spining, was a bit dissapointed but the length of it pays off,LOL.

If it isn’t I think there was a thread about very long LD’s. I’ll will search it tomorrow, today I don’t believe what I read! 
No, I din’t make it up, it’s true. I listened to the Laberge radio interview earlier that night and before I fell asleep again I thought of it over and over again because it gave me an affirmation to be lucid. It was not a superreal lucid but like in an ordinary dream, just that I was aware and had some control.

I’m still surprised when somebody says he has had an hours long LD. My longest LD was about 30 mn in real time. Did you feel yours was in real time or were there false memories, ellipses, flash-backs, etc.?
It was not in real time and no flashbacks cause it’s all new. What I did probably will only take half an hour to complete in reality. I was alone in the house the whole time except for a very short part where I saw my sis. I had to look at my hand twice to realise it was a dream, it was swollen and fuzzy. I also noticed one thing, as the dream got longer I began to feel a kind of dullness like a concious lack of effort to continue the dream although it was not fading, maybe it lasted too long,LOL. So I did what I wanted to do and I woke up.

Ah, dream time, that’s different. It’s nice when you can get a nice long one like that. ^^
Thanks, my last LD was like months ago, almost lost hope. I also notice that if I get too excited and think about LD the whole day, chances are I will not get vivid dreams to even start with, but if I just look forward to any dream that comes by I will most likely have vivid dreams and from there LDs I guess.

You’re not gonna believe me… It was 8 hours. I was playing hide and seek in a mansion, ruined a department store, went on a killing spree in a field, and saw my SG again and had more fun
Well after having such a long LD I believe it’s true. But did U feel what I felt as the dream became longer?

My longest LD was 10 minutes dream time. x_x
congrats on the superlong ld, my longest was about 20 seconds before i woke up cuz of my alarm clock 
Sometimes I get that feeling in 3rd person view LD’s. I’m usually watching a story but it lasts the whole night and hurts my head after awhile. Still, it’s like a nice little movie.
In the 8 hour LD, I got adjusted to staying lucid after awhile and eventually didn’t even need to focus on that. I spent a lot of time playing hide and seek in the mansion but did get bored. That’s why I went to the department store.
If you continue doing something, you won’t get that feeling.
