Anyone played Max Payne or seen slowmotion in movies like the Matrix? Wouldnt it be cool with a lucid dream in slowmotion? Its possible!
I was arguing about the game Max Payne one night on mIRC and went to bed. I dreamt a lucid dream, it was so real I thought I was awake and not sleeping. My best friend was in it and hit me in my head with some stuff, everything was in slowmotion and I felt pretty drugged up, I thought I was awake and had reached some weird state of mind after meditating that made me see the world in slowmotion. The coolest thing about this dream was the sounds, I could hear people shout, talk and scream in slowmotion. Awesome!
Anyway, this was a short dream, I discovered I was in fact dreaming somehow and this is when the dream turned lucid. Wuhoo! Im dreaming lucid and its slowmo! I freaked out, so much I wanted to do. I started running as fast as I could and did a wallflip on a building and landed on my feet. I cant do it in real life but it was so easy in the dream Well, after that I woke up, I didnt get the time to do much but I still remember lots of details because of the slowmotion effect.
It was the coolest lucid dream ever, it is to bad I have not been able to replicate it
My first post on this forum… Ill be nice
hi Pycnopodia!
great idea.
I should take things slow in LDs so I get the time to increase lucidity and stabilize. Maybe pretending all is in slow motion might help go against the fear of waking up, or somehow prolonging the dream.
sounds pretty cool to me… can really imagine that slow-mo
is a awesome way to get more out of your dream.
though, some people get similar results by taking
more time to focus on details (usually without
“Bullet-Time-Effect”, might be less thrilling)
by the way, there’s a “Slowing Down Time In Lucidity” - Topic
