Hi,

I wrote a simple application, it creates an icon in the system tray which can periodically show notifications and/or blink to remind you to be aware, to do RC etc. You can specify the text that will be shown and the time interval.

It’s written in Qt4 C++, when using the Linux version, make sure you have the latest Qt libraries installed.

There’s no Mac OS X version at the moment, because i don’t have a Mac, but it shouldn’t be a problem to compile it, there’s no platform specific code. If you want to try, just download the sources archive, it contains two NetBeans projects, for Windows and Linux version, but the sources are the same.

You can also configure the breaks on regular RSI software to achieve the same goal. Some exaples are Workrave for Windows and RSIBreak for Linux (also Qt).

I don’t mean to degrade your work in any way, ShenR. But you have a great concept there and experience tells me these links will be working long after your hotfiles have expired, so I’d like to present them as alternatives.
