Lucidity SOONER in the dream

I’ve completed had 31 LD’s, and even completed 1 quest. However, I only seem to become lucid during the last minute of the dream. How can I become lucid SOONER?

Consider that your lucidity might make your dream unstable - IE, a minute (or less) after becoming lucid you’ll wake up, regardless of how much dreaming you’ve done before.

Sounds reasonable… even in high lucidity dreams, my control is really low. So, I have to search for things that will:
A. Stablize me for 30 more seconds.
B. Work with me to acheive a quest.

First, 30 crucial seconds of a LD. Must read IMHO.

Hey, that’s pretty useful.

You can also try practicing WILD so that you’ll be lucid from the beginning of the dream.

I’ll try WILD… (I’ve tried it before, I always lose my trance, becuase, I always go through a period where I can’t seem to breath…) BTW, I’m posting from school (Cool! LD4all isn’t blocked!) Anyway, I have to get back to my class assignment before I’m caught…

You get to read a lot of stuff when you have to reorganize the whole Sites Compilation

Thanks for the link Tosxychor

I always start at step 4 :shy: wont do that anymore then.

If you need anymore aid, it also helps recreating the scene when you become lucid (mostly while daydreaming, or before going to bed), and train yourself that way to perform actions in a certain order. Rmember to put emotions in there, like the exitement you usually feel when you discover you’re dreaming! And try living that dream a bit. I find it extremely useful, and got to the next level (i"act out" my dream by moving around too). That way you won’t waste a LD trying to remember what you were supposed to do ^^

Edit: 300th post, TONIGHT WE DINE IN A LD!

I must confess that I haven’t been very rigorous in following those steps, because I am au naturale scared that the dream will end too fast, so I get right on it.

I should change this behaviour immediately.

Hmmm… My computer at home is no longer funtional, and my mother will no longer let me use her’s. So, I am glad that our school allows internet access for 30 minutes a day…
