Magazines

It seems there is a magazine for every hobby, except for dreaming/lucid dreaming… You could go on forever writing articals on dreams, LD, AP, and it dosnt all have to be about dreams. You could have articals on Meditation. You could have New age sponcers selling things, like incence, meditation balls, yoga matts, bed matresses, pillows, melatonin, Vitamen B6, meditation C.Ds. There are so many techniques with LDing you could write 3 or 4 years without repeating a technique. You could have interviews with Steve laburg, or Robert Bruce. I mean the list goes on, and on. If golfers, guitarist, bycyclers, gardners, handyman, mechanics, car hobbiest, tatoo, and even potheads (hightime) can have a magazine why the hell cant we have our own magazine on the news stand? Seriously LD is a very, very underated hobby, and I really dont think its fair to deprive us of our own magazine, I would love to see a Dream Magazine. What could we do to get it started. I know there was “Dream light”, but I dont think its in print anymore, and even if it is we could use another one. Any ideas… even if we have to do it ourselfs. We dreamers need our magazine!!!

That’s a good idea, but there is a problem… How can we make a worldwide magazine? We need money and time. No one is going to create a magazine for us, which means we have to do it by our own.
Another problem is, the magazine will be useless without people to read it. Most of the people don’t take dreams seriously, they don’t even remember their dreams. I don’t really know what to do about it, but I still think it’s a good idea. If you have any suggestions, post them…

IMO it is a bit pointless … because all that information is already on LD4all. So why create work for no real gains?

I think the reason most people dont take dreams seriously is because they dont realize all the things you can do with your dreams, you dont meet people everyday who has ever heard of LDing. The reason is, is because there is no media coverage on the subject. Sure you could just go here for the info, but guitarest, and golfers have a magazine when they could just go online… Not everyone has the enternet. Im not actualy saying we should start a magazine ourselfs, because in reality I just dont see it happaning. I would just be curious to see how well a dream magazine would do on the market, if it were displayed on News stands, and grocier store shelfs.

that would be nice. then other people’s eyes can be opened to lucid dreaming. i heard about it in a magazine…

Well,why do people buy cheat code books, or walk-thrus for video games when you can find them online for free? 1.) laziness 2.) Stupidity 3.) Portability 4.) Belief that thing that cost money, are better

Same exact thing for magazines

I have been wanting some kind of sleep related magazine since I’m really into the stuff. it would be nice but unfortunately their aren’t.

it would be easier to ask an existing magazine like wired or something, if we they could put a section in about lucid dreams.

Hm…maybe a magazine about dreaming with other things, a comic in it, or maybe like recipes that help? I dunno ^^;

good ideas Hime
