More tips while lucid

Hello again, LD’ers.

Last night was a really messed up night of dreaming for me. I went to bed at about 1am and woke up at 4am sweating bullets and scared shitless. I had this intense ND where I was on a plane with my family and it was going to crash and everyone was crying and screaming and wondering what death is going to be like. I took charge and tryed to calm everyone down but it was too late… We crashed into the pavement and it was lights-out. The next thing I know I’m running across grass with my brother (who was on the plane next to me) and laughing about how beautiful the after-life is… somehow I had this strong intuition that when you die, you experience something a lot like an LD. This is when I woke up.

Next dream I had involved me getting repeatedly smashed into the ground by a gang of hostile aliens with huge knives and swords. They were super-powerful and apparently I pissed them off badly. Every time I hit the ground my limbs flew off my body and I “respawned” like in Quake 3 only to be killed again by them.

Several hours later, I dreamt again that I was skiing down a very steep hill. That was fun.

Next I had an LD. This wasn’t an ordinary LD, however - It was the most beautiful LD I’ve ever had. Once lucid, I screamed “optimize visuals!” (picked that up here somewhere). The dream quickly turned very sharp and was just like, if not more vivid, than waking reality. I was right next to the water and the beauty was just overwhelming. I experimented with flying, and discovered that the verbal commands “gain altitude!”, “increase speed!” and “fly over there (while looking at a destination” work quite well.

So, I first want to ask: Has anyone experienced a night of near-death experiences and has anything to comment on what it might mean to me?

Second, I wanted to write about my successes with verbal commands. They work, try them.

Yes, happened to me at least once in ND. I was shot by cannon, and in next moment i “woke up” in a big building with long corridors, etc, what i thought to be Heaven.

I’m not sure what it means to you. Maybe it’s was affected by how you would like “after death” realm to look like. Maybe it was affected by what you have read, or thought about it.

Verbal commands are excellent! :good: For me they work better than other means for gaining dream stability, or when teleporting things.

For example i have experienced during my last LD-s that saying: “This is a stabilized dream!” is the best method to keep myself from premature wake up, and helps to stabilize the dream. It’s a direct assurance to my brain, that all is OK, and i want to continue this dream.

Another exercise is to move things from one place to other just by commanding them verbally and believing that it will happen.

In next exercises i want to teleport myself to another place by verbal command. I’m sure that it happens, i just need bit practice

way to go! see how easy LDing is when we believe it to be? keep up the good work, and tell yourself that it is very easy to know that you are dreaming in a dream (which actually is true, the only reason we are not natural LDers is because noone taught us to.)

They work well with me too!
