Multivitamins

I was about to go out and buy a something which had B6, B12, and zinc when I noticed I had a bottle of centrum multivitamins. Each one had something like 300 percent B6 and B12, as well as zinc! The only problem is, a multivitamin might cost more than just plain B6,12 and zinc. But the wide range of vitamins it contains seems like a good enough reason to pay a little more.

Any thoughts on this?

Should work, try it and report on the results, please!

I used to take a cheap version of Centrium for a period of 3 days, it helped recall, and I did have one LD.

I have been taking Centrum Performance. It is basically like normal centrum except most of the ingredients exceed normal daily values.

I thought I would compare the contents of Centrum Performance to Nature Made Stress B-Complex w/zinc, so you can get the idea how it compares to a b6/b12 supplement.

Vitamin B6 :
5 mg - B-Complex
6 mg - Centrum

Vitamin B12:
12 mcg
18 mcg

Zinc:
23.9 mg
15 mg

Not sure what impact these increased amounts have. Maybe a placebo effect, lol.

If there is A,D,E or K in it you shouldn´t take large amounts/take it too often. (these vitamins stay in your body fat instead of getting out with urine)

Vitamin A : 100% DV
Vitamin D : 100% DV
Vitamin E : 200% DV
Vitamin K : 31% DV

E seems to be the only one in large quanitity. I’ll be careful though.

Also of note, the vitamin contains 60mg of Ginko Biloba and 50mg Panax Ginseng extract.
