Wow, am I excited! I had my first LD last night!
So a little backround, i’ve known about lucid dreaming for mounths but never gave it a second thought, untill about 5 or so days ago. I got this book called Lucid dreaming in 30 days, and decided I would try it starting on a sunday night.
So I did. I followed the things in the book, and last night I had my first Lucid Dream!
The first part I remember was I shot someone in the head, and after not feeling guilty, I knew it must be a dream! and right when that clicked, everything seemed like it changed. My thought process changed, it felt as if I was awake. I started going over everything i’ve read on this website and others, and in books, and all I could come up with was rubbing my hands together and spinning. so I did both. Spinning made me kinda dizzy, like in real life. The rubbing didn’t seem to do anyhting…
I was talking to my family about Lucid dreaming, as I was doing it!
One of my family members was like “I dunno, that seems pretty weird…controlling your dreams…” and I said “Oh really” and started to levitate! I crossed my legs and just hung there mid-air. I remember people saying if you want something to happen, you just have to want it and let it happen. Well, I tried to make light come from my hands, and I really tried to conecentrate on it. Only a little bit of light came out, but it was still enough for everyone to be like “Whoa!”
I then was in san fransisco, I don’t really recall how I got there.
I see my ex-girlfriend walking down the street, and suddenly theres a huge pool stick in my hand, haha. So I hit her over the head with it, and she runs up to me about to smack me, and I just get really serious and im like “No.” and she drops all anger and emotion and just walks away…It felt awesome to have that kinda control.
I also was flying with my friend, about 50 ft in the sky, also in San Fransisco, and it felt like such a rush going down the hills in the air, I must have been going atleast 90mph, atleast thats how it felt. I remember talking to my friend as we were flying.
“Hey man, this is pretty awesome huh man? aren’t lucid dreams kickass?” and he agreed, and I said “Yeah, sucks we can only fly this fast, some people can teleport and do crazy shit.”
There was about a dozen other small details, but thats basicly the whole thing. I know its kinda long, but Im just so excited I could do it!
