I just discovered this site, didn’t know it even had a name. Iv lded many time in the past. One of my favorites, and one of the first ones iv had, was a flight one. I had it in the 6th grade (so about 6-7 years ago). I remember I was walking down the street, and I simply just started flying. I willed it and it happen. Interesting thing is that I “ran” into houses. That was because i was thinking logically (well logically as you can in a dream ) and i was moving pretty fast and when I “stopped” I had momentium (sp?). I remember I went so high up above the city that I got lost cause i couldn’t see my house or anything so I just flew around awhile and then woke up. The thing is, is that I dunno if that was LD or not… because I don’t remember if I relised I was dreaming or not. Maybe I should have kept a DJ huh? Another one of my favorite experences also happened several years ago, I was have this dream were I was with this wonderful girl who I felt I love. Then I woke up at about 8 in the morning, and I remembered the dream and how much I liked it, I then forced myself back to sleep (I think some of it was daydream, or imagination before i went back to sleep) and continued the dream where I left off. Its one of the coolest things iv done. Iv had many many FAs and yes therre very annoying lol. Iv had several LDs in the past, and Iv had alot of fun doing them, most the time I don’t relise its a dream till it gets really weird. I think in one dream I stopped time and moved people around and bassically had some fun. Now that iv found this site and read through this stuff I wonder if maybe I could master it and be able to do it every night, I mean I could do it before I knew what I was doing, maybe with a DJ and few other things I learned I could do more. Oh yea one more thing, when I wake up then go right back to sleep for like an hour or 2, when I awake again I usually find I remember those dreams the most often and vivid despite there being short ones. Anyone else get this too?
Yeah, I get vivid dreams with wake-back-to-bed. Quite common, because later in sleep you get longer REM (dream) cycles. See the second link in my signature for some info to get you started, if you want to start going for LDs.
