Need explanation, very sad me.

Hi everbody…

At first, I read that it would be hard in the start to become lucid and all that, + the dream recall thing.

For me, I could almost recall all my dreams after my second night, and my third and fourth night I became lucid. After that, the next night I couldnt get lucid, the night after that I couldnt remember anything, the night after that again, I couldnt even sleep. So last night, I couldnt sleep, but when I got a little sleep, I couldnt even remember my dream(s)… So why does this stuff have a reverse effect on me? First great, then I suck at LDing…

I heard people said that sometime you should take a break, but I dont know how, I think about it all the time, specially when I’m in my bed… I can’t just let it slip my mind, it’s impossible.

They say that ‘‘don’t want it too much, cause then it wont come to you’’, well, I can’t remember any other exitement I had in the beginning that I don’t have now. The worst part of this, is that I get alot less sleep then I usually would.

I started with MILD’s all the way, after I got it two times, I tried the trance music thing + MILD + WBTB + MILD. This night nothing worked, then all the nights after when I tried MILD again I just lost different abbillities. I know I can’t do WILD, cause it takes me alooooong time to fall asleep, and I’m easily destracted… + I haven’t seen any images in my head, so it’s kind of hard.

if so, then stop worrying. you got one. you proved that, “hey! this stuff is real!” if you got one, then you can get another. thinking about it all the time is not a problem. actually, according to my own experience, it may be a good thing(no, i wont be releasing any details yet). however, constantly worrying about it, is the worst thing you can do. and also the dumbest, quite honestly. you got a ld already. you dont have to worry about not getting any more. if you got one, you can get another. unless you got a bullet to the head a couple days ago or something :tongue:

now, if i were you, i would stop worrying. it builds tension, and that sucks. best thing i can recommend is something relaxing. calm, smooth, preferably classical music is a good start. and by that i mean anything that metallica fans wouldnt be caught dead listening to. the web should be able to assist you in “borrowing” some songs. but if you have a few bucks to spend, my best bet would be to get a big, fat, hardcover book of jokes. the more you piss yourself laughing, the better. why? because you relieve tension from humour. laughter is probably the best way to relieve stress that you can find. get a book of jokes, and read a few pages before bed. that way you get a good couple laughs, relax, and unwind. then play some soothing music, and go to bed. try to think back at the jokes. see if you remember them all. that way you dont think so much about your ld’s. and hey. if this idea flunks, then at least you got a good laugh from it.

It’s not actually hard to start LD’ing. Nor is it hard to continue it.

This is what you have to understand:

Different people have their first LD after different amounts of time. You were quite lucky - after only three nights (and then had another one on the fourth night - evne more impressive).

There’s plenty of reasons why you may not have had very good DR on the fifth night. It could be your diet, stress, and effect of drugs or anything. Or you could have just been unlucky.

I imgaine on your sixth night you was quite exicted at the prospect of having an LD - which may have been what kept you awake (though it could have been somethign else).

Has it only been a couple of days since your last LD? Cos only naturals and people with plenty of experince can have LD’s everynight. Or once every other night. Or one every three nights.

You’re not getting worse - as your new it’s not surprising that there is time inbetween your LD’s.

For me, I have enver had more than 9 LD’s in one month (though many people have had far far more).

In short - the fact that you got two LD’s, so soon, is impressive. You shouldn’t be upset that you’re not getting them every night though - you’ll need to practice for that :wink:.

Hey… Thanks dude, this made me think of something… But I still haven’t figured it out… In this last month I’ve smoked more Hasheesh than ever, I usually don’t smoke that much (at all), but I figured this is my last two months in my home-country and it’s a vacation, I’m going away for a year to a stranger of a country… So I’m just having my last fun with my friends.

Anyway, you made me think, so I went ahead and searched google for ‘‘Hash + bad + sleep’’. And I found alot, it said that smoking Hash regurarly, makes some people have trouble sleeping, and upsets the nervous system or something. I allways thought smoking it made me have wilder dreams (because it did before), but I bet since I’ve been smoking a little more lately, it’s causing problems… Well I’m not gonna choose drugs over sleeping and LD’ing… So I’ll just hope that the page I got the info from, were right about everything, and that if I don’t smoke in a week, it will go back to normal :smile:

Ahh… can’t stand thinking I have to wait at least one week more to get an LD, but still I’ll be in my bed in the morning dissapointed over that I didn’t have one + I can’t remember my dreams (drugs do that to you… stay in school everybody! I did, and look how I turned out… Gosh darn it!!!)

For many people (myself included), weed/hash and LDing don’t mix.
