i’m pretty mad at myself, the whole idea of this sounds amazing, and i think i’ve either had one or dreamed about having a LD but im having trouble getting motivated, it sucks cause i really want to do it but after a month of work, a few months ago i kinda just stopped, i want it to happen but i just feel like its never gonna happen, and i dont wanna work for it… any help is appreciated, btw i was using the MILD method which i didnt find easy to sleep with. I have school during the week and its just hard to get enough sleep. thanks for any advice or anything!
First of all, LD’ing takes practice. BUT if you’re motivated, that’s not a problem (not a big problem anyway.
ok, second. I find it’s a LOT harder to LD when I have to get up early for school… try maybe to focus more and practice harder on weekends, holidays or vacations.
Reading other peoples DJ’s also helps. There are some very incredible LD’s in the DJ section. Keeping a DJ can also help. I found it was very fun in the beginning.
And what I try to do is focus on the good stuff. Maybe it’s easy to say, don’t know… for example, you’re trying to LD but you don’t. But you do see HI. Try to get more excited by the HI (“HI, cool! it ws really vivid, I must be slowly getting better!”) than frustrated by not having a LD…
For some people it takes a bit longer to have their first LD, but you WILL get one! Don’t be afraid to try out other techniques too.

there are 5 parts and it is packed with first LDs.
Then the official lucid quest topics in adventures are good since it shows you can set goals while awake and do them while lucid

thanks for the help guys, i just tried MILD last night… the weirdest thing happened. so i just kept repeating i will dream tonight, i will realize im dreaming, and i’ll remember my dream. After about 5 maybe 10 minutes i started to get numb (never happened before) i just relaxed and repeated shortly after that my body started to feel weightless and vibrate. I just started to see some HI and i just tried to repeat and just watch it do its thing, but i kept watching it and i saw a brighter light and focused on the and before i knew it my eyes pretty much opened themselves. When i got “up” i felt like my body had air conditioning and i kept doing RC and im pretty sure i wasnt lucid, but idk i did feel weird though. After a few minutes i lied back down and repeated till i went to sleep and i did, i had a dream and remembered it when i got up, but it wasnt lucid. So i’m exicted and drepressed, and ready to try again… Was this like a MILD/WILD? thanks again guys!

Yeah, the vibrations indicate you’re close to a WILD. Although if you did this right when you went to bed at night, it might take a while. Better to try this after a few hours of sleep for better results.
