New to LD

I was wondering if anyone could give me tips; what style works best, when I should do it, etc. I discovered it yesterday and came to this forum. I tried last night but I’m not sure if anything happened as I didn’t try to recall it in the morning.

Here’s my daily schedule if that could be useful to you to help me, and I’m 14 btw:

  • 7AM: Wake up
  • 7:50AM: Leave house to catch bus
  • 8:10AM: Arrive at school
  • 2:50PM: Come home from school
  • 10:30PM: Sleep

That’s about the jist of it. So, any tips for a newbie?

I’m new to most of this as well. The best advice I can give you is just to be patient, open-minded, and diligent. It’s just like anything else. You need to train yourself. Generally the WBTB method is the tool used by beginners. There is plenty to read about that on the forums.

I would suggest you to train your DR first, spending quite some time with your dreams to become familiar with them. You have to choose a technique on your own, one which you think suits you. Read through the tutorials and guides on the forum, but remember, what you have there are guidelines which you need to adapt to yourself.
